Fondazione Prada is hosting a comprehensive retrospective of Italian artist Pino Pascali’s work.

This exhibition seeks to explore the groundbreaking nature of Pascali’s creations, especially his sculptures, which have significantly influenced multiple generations of artists and critics over the past fifty years. Pascali’s work continues to captivate and draw increasing interest from an international audience.

Pino Pascali (1935-1968) was a pioneering Italian artist known for his innovative and playful approach to sculpture and installation art.  His creations, such as his famous “fake sculptures,” challenge traditional boundaries and invite viewers to engage with art in new and imaginative ways. Despite his untimely death at the age of 32, Pascali’s influential body of work continues to inspire and resonate within the contemporary art world.





A key figure in the Arte Povera movement, Pascali’s work often incorporated unconventional materials and a sense of irony, blending art with elements of nature and everyday life.
